Since a lot of ppl asks some tips about title editing, heres a simple tutorial.

~> New! Heres a list of some effects you can use, thanks a lot to Reidi! (maybe more to come, if you have some and you want me to post them here, pm me (: )
 

Item_support_GRE (green GM glow)

Item_support (white GM glow)

Item_support_BLUE (blue GM glow)

Item_support_YEL (yellow GM glow)

sfire_Idle (burn effect on ur char)

Item_support_BL (black GM glow)

First, download the latest version of LastChaos Dev Studio : 2

/!\ CHECK YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING FILES IN YOUR FOLDER :

Dont forget to backup titletool.lod, Titles.data & itemAll.lod.

Then, open it & load titletool.lod (in the Data folder of your client)

Select a title and edit it as you want (color, effect...). No need to change the name here, well do that after.

When you finished, click on save this, and file > save : save your new file as titletool.lod.

Click again on file > save, but this time go to your data folder (in the server folder of the emulator) and save your file as "Titles.data"

When its done, open itemAll.lod and enter the old name of the title you edited. An item with the same name will appear; change the name to whatever you want, save the record & click on file > save to save it as itemAll.lod. (you dont need to export itemname.lod)

At last, put titletool.lod & itemAll.lod back in your client, log in, use /settitle

today im going to show you how to start lastchaos over the normal launcher with your own patch notes:

What you need:

- A Server or Webspace with an own IP (Free hoster like Funpic doesnt go because they have no own IP)

- The html files (I ripped the files two months ago from LC GER )

- Moded Launcher (Attached)

- Wizas Ip Tool

 

Download:

Update for new Launcher (requires other Download):

(Just copy the html and picture files in /lc_update and replace the LC.exe in the LC Folder.)

 

Instruction:

 

At first edit the ip.txt and version.txt:

 

ip.txt:

Version.txt:

1507

The right version can you also display with wizas ip tool.

 

At next put a .zip with the Version name in the folder where the version.txt is.

Example: "1507.zip"

 

Edit the notice.html and update.html to your wishes and upload all.

 

Then edit the patch server url/ip with wizas ip tool.

Example: "http://yoururl.com/lc_update/"

 

At last replace the LC.exe in your LC folder and copy the game.exe into the "Bin" Folder.

Run LC.exe and have fun !!!

Hey guys thanks for reading this post... I was wondering if someone can show me how to connect to the last chaos emulator any server using Team viewer, I catch on pretty fast so if i just watch it once i can hopefully do it myself next time. Tanks for your time reading this post(appreciated)

Hey guys is it just me or the welcome message of wizatek doesnt appear on the 0302 version?

well i was having fun getting to learn the LC client better in terms of limitation and capabilities examining files and such

 

I was opening textures and i came across the water i was like :o ok lets check this out the first texture said Oceanbump.tex i was like ok I i knew i was gonna see a bumpy picture used to give realistic water effects nothing new.

 

Then i was gonna look through all the files for fun the OceanBump2.tex was next i open it...

 

I almost fell over cause this is what i got....
