- Natzn - 07-20-2011 Hi @ all, how has the website, that Ive defined in the lccnct.dta, to be formatted? If I use a non-special formatted website it shows an browser error. It would be nice, if I get an answer. Greetz, Natzn - Wizatek - 07-20-2011 the url in lccnct.dta browses to thaturl/ip.txt inside ip.txt there is the referal to the update server. it will also search for "notice.htm" and "update.htm" those are the 2 html pages that come in the right side of the patcher. notice is the top one. the ip.txt file can look like this : 1 http://theurlhere/ the patcher will go to that url and search for a file named version.txt in that file is the current patch version that is on there. lets say the version is 1501 and the client have version 1500, then it will search for 1501.zip and download and extract it. The version can be found in vtm.brn I hope this answers your question ![]() - Wrong - 07-20-2011 how to open the vtm to know what version it is? - Natzn - 07-20-2011 Thank you very much ![]() - Akella1 - 07-21-2011 help path file is crashed( - Akella1 - 07-21-2011 writes the error did everything right ( - Cruzaders - 07-21-2011 Not working, In htdocs i created a file named ip.txt: 1 2 I created a new folder inside htdocs named "Patcher". Inside Patcher i have 4 files : 10000000.zip, version.txt, notice.htm and update.htm Version: 900000 inside 10000000.zip i have those files to update. Edited the "lccnct" to: 2 And its not working. When i open the laucher i recive a message: "Updating Failure" - someone - 07-21-2011 The launcher looks into the vtm.brn and into the version.txt, it compares the versions and if the version in the version.txt is higher. For example: If you have 1503 in version.txt, and 1500 in the vtm.brn, the value in the vtm.brn will increment by 1, and each time it downloads a patch, till it reaches the value in the version.txt(first will look for 1501.zip, then 1502.zip, and lastly 1503.zip). - Cruzaders - 07-21-2011 HOHO, working. Thanks Wizatek! - Natzn - 07-21-2011 I have a second question, how can I change the link, that is forced when I click on the Homepage-Button? |
