okay all work successful now but still connection error, Iptables is disabled and firewall is off

ok, you canged the ip in sl.dta? and the ports? you checked them? And the client? is patched?

I got this same problem.. server dont connect but my linux mysql client can.
think im missing the libs, do you have them?

Yea when I first tried it was saying missing libmysqlclient.so.12 then libssl.so.0.9.7 but I have them and still not working

ok, give me a second. did you run yum update, before all?do this in terminal and tell me the result:
1 - service mysqld start
2 - service httpd start
