Aeria didnt close they simply sold publishing rights to Gamigo for the USA version of LastChaos. The client, accounts, and everything else will stay the same.

Wondering what will happen to ones which bought files from aeria..which patches will they get
No one bought files from Aeria.
All the leaked files that people are selling and or using originate from the same few people who have access to Barunson. So files will keep leaking as usual. Barunsons security sucks, not Aerias.
Anyways, I see this decision as Aeria trying to drop a dead game before it makes them look worse honestly. We all know that every LC server is failing, Official LC included. So much so that closing Gamigo LC was once seriously discussed with Barunson (before this deal obviously.) What I forsee now is LCUSA Gamigo version will retain a percentage of Aerias LC population only. I know many people are too hardheaded to move over and will just quit or whatever other reason they have. So in a few months we will see LCUSA merge databases with Gamigos European servers and we will have a "Global" Last chaos as their last ditched effort of having a stable community. I truly think this is starting to be LCs last legs as many times as weve all said it before, this looks to be it for better or worse.

I dont see much trouble for the players. And most likely they will benefit from the change.
On the other hand this is disastrous for private servers as gamigo before never hunted servers running usa files. I bet they going to start doing that now
This is good in my opinion.
Will get rid of a lot of these silly servers when these guys are hit with lawyers. Then they will get a sense of reality.
But thats just my bitterness.

Its funny because they havent established a lot of rules yet , u can use keron sleep at siege and it cant be cured XD
