well, if you put it like that, they are some + and some -.

that hostisng the emu on linux, will be perfect for prevent noobs to get hacked by a simple open port exploit.
mac users will can play too, that will make more players.

if you put it on ps3, i think its using linux on it isnt it?
if you put it on ps3, that means that you must have a mouse+keyboard installed on it, and its an expenisve cost.but in a close future, we may be able to add the original ps3 gamepad, using pad combos for open menus (friendlist, guild, etc) for move around, talk or atack/make skills.
the same for the nintendo wii. wii will need the homebrew channel, hermes v222 cios pack, and the emulator burn in a iso. but,lot of questions comes: how to update it? directly on wii memory space, that only have 256MB?
all those things are possible, but is a hard work, and i really think could make a lot of players play last chaos,
but anyway, i think all this may be tryed AFTER the emulator will be 100% complete

I think some of you are thinking the Game is Mono Compatible too....That is wrong, what wisatek is meaning is that the Server is Mono Compatible

The game is not written in .NET
But i have seen situations where people can play lastchaos thru Wine.
