Installed mysql server on vbox an now it connects on 127.0.0.1 Seems the LC server files dont support password & connecting to a remote database - CyberClaus - 06-26-2013 password yes, it does MaX, you just need to change a line in my.cnf and put : old_passwords=1 after that it will let you have root user with password. And remote connecting, it has also to work, the problem is that mysql, for security reasons, is too picky, and the configuration has to be done correctly. Im glad you have it working, anything else just ask. - Jaiz - 06-28-2013 install phpmyadmin and go to the users and change the version of the mysql test it yourself. |
