Heey,

i've followed the tutorial really closely but after 1 minute of playing it gives me a disconnected message..

any idea how i can see what's wrong or any idea what i did wrong?

Thanks in advice

If you get disconnected message is because client cant comunicate with server. check the conections and configurations

Ok maybe this is the wrong thread but i dont know where to put it..

I want to play with friend and hamachi just sucks XD

i've done some port forwarding and i understand why i need to put the network connection of the VM on bridged

But all the ports im using aren't open. Using the local ip i can just play normally but when i use the extern ip of the VM as "custom ip" nothing seems to work... Anything i could have missed?? or anyplace i can get the information im looking for?

you use adsl or cable? if adsl forget it, cause you need 2 external ips, if cable you have luck. just look in google how to configure vm to have cable external ip.

Is it possible to use a DNS Server for a all-the-time same IP? MY English isn'T so good Wink I can't use my public IP, so can i use a DNS-Service?

- CyberClaus - 06-24-2014

no, you need IP address. A domain will not work

You can use a dns address in the client then just get a dns updater on your host to keep the dns updated Smile
