Hey guys,

 

i want to know how i can start navicat on root server without graphic interface.

To install: yum install mysql-server

To start it: service mysqld start

why start in root server when u can use SSH Tunnel and start on own PC ?

no, database at root but u can connect them and edit from your pc

in your root, you have to create an user that allows connect from any connection. for that you have to introduce an % in ip text.

then you can connect to it introducing root ip in general tab in your pc.

 

at least, i do this to connect to vmware in my pc

Can you say me what i need write in the ip text?

 

EDIT: 

ssh -L3336:<smartmachine-private-ip>:3306 -N admin@<smartmachine-hostname>   I found it on google, i need to put it?
