Hey guys,

I have a little problem with my ep2 server. I put up databases and all dat [CeNsOrEd] and changed the ips. I did everything I can and now I dont know what to do. It would be great if someone could offer me personal help via TeamViewer or skype or anything else. Thank you guys and I hope you can help me.

I want to use Hamachi for playing on the server. Do you need to do something with the ports there too? Someone told me if I use Hamachi I dont need to check Ports.

€dit: If I want to use a root server for making my server public, where should I host it? Which country is suited best for it and if you know could someone please give me a page where I can rent one?

turned off firewall?

WTF?

Nobody makes that.

To make a hole in the Firewall, login as superuser and open the ports of your loginserver, and gameservers..

with this Command:

iptables -I INPUT -m tcp -p tcp --dport <Port> -j ACCEPT

config the iptables-service:

vi /etc/init.d/iptables

press "i" for the insert-Mode

and change

iptables_unload "yes" to

iptables_unload "no"

press ESC to leave the insert-mode

and :wq + Enter to save the config

save the rules:

service iptables save

and now restart:

service iptables restart

thats all Smile very simple... you dont need to unable iptables.
