- lukaslt - 12-01-2013 Hey guys, As i updated to vm 10 its now changing the IP each time I restart Virtual machine, I have to reset all the time each file IP settings and thats lame, is there any fix, for e.g. once the ip is 192.168.1.** and then its 192.168.0.** thanks in advance - systech - 12-01-2013 You need to configure the vmware to connect as bridged. For do that, open the settings of your virtual machine: 2 Click the button "Add" and select Network Adapter 2 Click Next and configure it this way: 2 Click Finish, restart your virtual machine Connect both of your networks (there should be one standard as NAT for internet), Done. Now you can use your IP 192.168.x.x showed in connection properties. - systech - 12-04-2013 I assume the topic is solved, can I request an update of the topic if you still have issues? I see your still active but ignoring this topic. If you dont have this problem anymore, please mark this topic as solved and post a short description on how you solved it. - lukaslt - 12-04-2013 Sorry, forgot to change status Could you close the thread? I am not able to edit status to solved - systech - 12-04-2013 As per request i close the topic, mark it as solved and move to the correct section for solved discussions |
