CentOS-7-x86_64 suitable for servers?

Centos 7 - you need to use mariadb not MySQL.

I think its a matter of personal preference.

Centos 7 works fine, Centos 6 also, and even centos 5

32 bit works fine and 64 works fine.

You might have a speed advantage on x64, but not really required since the memory used by a single Gameserver is not above 4gb.

 

Personally i use Centos6 x64 for both servers and never had any problems because of the OS

I had test centos 7 and centos 6. I thougt centos 6.7 is the best. Please Note that Centos 7 already use MariaDB instead of MySql how as I see at my test.
