- Walletman987 - 12-26-2013 Im making this post because Id like to know how people expect the new classes to be like in p-servers and how we could make them better. Here are a few things to discuss: -Ex-rogue builds and stat point usage. -Arch-Mage builds and stat point usage. -Would you want to see Arch mage as a support class, or an attack class? -Ex-rogue skills and passives? Should we change them so they can do other things? -Old classes vs new class? What are the pros and cons of the new and old classes now? Please feel free to discuss them here and add anymore things - dateone - 12-26-2013 I think the new classes do not perfectly fit into LC. All the old classes have their significant differences that make them worth playing depending on someones preferences. The two classes Ex-rogue and Archmage basically seem to be just some improved versions of the rogue and the mage, what makes the old classes less or more superflous. It would have been a better choice if they had been added as some kind of reborn-rewards as originally intended. Another idea is to make them the same way as the Nightshadow. You have to reach a certain level to unlock them and they start at lets say level 150 (?). Nevertheless, they should then keep their original skills unedited. They already are superior to my mind. I dont know if this is what you want to discuss here, but this is my opinion about the new classes. - Walletman987 - 12-27-2013 I think the new classes do not perfectly fit into LC. Im asking about this stuff because I honestly have NO IDEA what the new classes are for lol. Anyone else got something to saY? - xMeowx3 - 12-27-2013 Im making this post because Id like to know how people expect the new classes to be like in p-servers and how we could make them better. Theyre redundant and a way to make more money, they were once a part of the reborn system I believe.Theres barely any worth while changes. Wizards still using Ice ball as main attack, although golden chaos nova & blizzard is fun ![]() Assassins exact same except with a attack & heal skill & also faster animations. Over testing them for balancing Ive come to believe that arch wizard has different game stats that makes it weaker than wizard despite having same passives & visual stats. Ex assassin is also weaker despite having better skills because of no soul to give hitrate in 1v1s. I cant say much about ex ranger & arch witch as those needed edited to be worth while playing. - Walletman987 - 12-27-2013 All characters have the basic stats of 100,17 & rest conc. I disagree with your view on builds, you need certain jewels to build your character against other classes. Lets say you wanted hit rate to kill a sorcerer, youd socket your armor with either magic hr or phys hr. You can also use other jewels to raise con/HP for a longer life in pvp lol. Do you think making some kind of soul for them would make the new classes a bit better? Or should we not do that? - dethunter12 - 12-27-2013 i think you should rebuild the skills for something totally diffrent im not sure - Sickness - 12-27-2013 Ex-Assassin was designed as a Off-Tank Support Class. This was the "design" for it when deciding its skills. You can see it with its various buffs and skills. Ex-Ranger was designed very poorly. It was meant as a range support class with various traps to disable enemies. Archwizard was designed as an AOE damage dealing class with debuffing abilities. Archwitch was designed as a controlling/debuff class meant to support. This is how barunson has always described the new classes in their notes. Whether they function as stated is debatable. |
