Im having a weird issue with my launcher.
my vtr.brn file had 1279 and my version.txt has 1285 and my zip was 1280..... and my update wasnt working
Then i turn it the way around my version.txt 1279 and my vtr.brn file 1285 and it actually worked i got update complete BUT if i do the way around i get errors when im updating, any suggestions why im getting this ?
1.vtr file: 1279 + version.txt:1285 zip: 1280 : Does not work
2.vtr file 1285 +version.txt:1279 zip: 1280: Works says update complete but it doesnt update anything in client.
I also followed every step in someones guide and then i get errors like " Patch file is crashed"......
Any suggestions? what am i doing wrong? how can i fix this ?

version.txt should be 1 higher number than that vtm.brn and the zip should be the version #

@2 when i do that i get this error "Patch file is crashed.Must run program again"

@2 You should try to put version.txt 1280 and 1280.zip then it should work fine As your vtr.brn is 1279

Try to go to the folder where you have the folder of updates and right click properties and next where you see "READ ONLY" be sure that there isnt the tick on it and next apply for subfolders too

And if you do it in linux(maybe haha) just go to properties of the folder and all archive of there, and next give them all permissions for all and if doesnt work give permission for execute as a program too but this just if you use linux

I did it and it works now, btw everytime i make another update my vtr.brn i will have to change to 1280 and zip will be 1281 right? and soo on?
