- Rudi2404 - 05-25-2015 Hi Guys.... I have a little prob with "Patch File crashed" on the client and i think its because the Launcher cant check for any updates. I use 2 and the newest US-Client... So, who can tell me, how i have to setup the update-function (which files and Directories have to be on the apache-server)? Thanks in advance and regards, Rudi - RomainLastChaos - 05-25-2015 2 - Rudi2404 - 05-25-2015 Thanks for your answer.... Thats exactly what i have, but the error is still here.... Regards - RomainLastChaos - 05-25-2015 if the error are there it mean you do something wrong i invit you to check a guide seting up a launcher on this board. - KochanyMis - 05-25-2015 Make sure update path is right exactly where you putting updates. - ZaTii - 05-25-2015 Patch file crashed means normaly that the File he wants to update dont exist or have the false format for example .rar but .zip is needed. - Rudi2404 - 05-25-2015 Okay, i think my paths are ok, but i show my screenshoots from WinSCP (Paths) and CheckerTool.... Sorry, for the many pictures, but i hope, you can help me better, when you see my config... Sorry, for the picturelinks, but i cant post pictures here... Why? Here can u see, that my Last Chaos Patchfolder (lc_update) is in apache main (var/www/html)... http://up-pic.de/images/img19/9923SCP1.jpg Here you can see my lc_update Folder and the files and folders in it.... http://up-pic.de/images/img15/1135SCP2.jpg The content of ip.txt: 1 2 Now, the patches-folder: 2 The content of version.txt: 1 Now, a screenshot of CheckerTool... Everything seems to be ok... 2 But, when i start the LastChaos Launcher: 2 I hope you can help me now with my Update-Problem.... Thanks in advance again and regards, Rudi - KochanyMis - 05-25-2015 You not supposed to change version in your checker tool. If lets say you add first update and it was 1616 in client , you need to leave it 1616 and just change your version.txt in winscp ![]() - Rudi2404 - 05-25-2015 You not supposed to change version in your checker tool. If lets say you add first update and it was 1616 in client , you need to put 1617 .In the Checker Tool under Version Edit (1) ist the Last Chaos Client Version, right? In "in the version.txt" stands the new Launcher Version. So if here stands 1 (in my case), there is no update, right? In my patches-folder is no zip-file.... So, it must work without the error "Patchfile is crashed" right? But it wont work... My second try was the following. I made a zip-file, called "2.zip" and is in the patches folder and i have edited the version.txt from 1 to 2. Now, when i start the launcher, there must be an update. So the launcher have to make the update, and there sshould be no error, right? But, in both cases (with update and version.txt = 2 / with no update and version.txt = 1) comes the error: Patch File is crashed! Regards - ZaTii - 05-25-2015 My second try was the following. Regards change ur client version to 1 its the vtm file and be sure that u edited the lccnct file (connection to patchserver) and start the launcher, client should update from version 1 to version 2 |
