- BashVendetta - 11-03-2011 Anyone have any idea how the client caches its information? I have noticed a few issues such as when you change a skill or update it and there was an issue you will error and everytime after that even when reverting back to your working files it will continue to error, figrued this is obviously a file cache issue after the client dumps an error. Also what file saves your username? - someone - 11-03-2011 aSH' date=' post: 13070"']Anyone have any idea how the client caches its information? Didnt had any problems, but if you want to see a dump file, you can allays use the console and dump the memory to file, using some SeriousSam console commands. 2 - BashVendetta - 11-03-2011 How do I get the console open? - someone - 11-03-2011 aSH' date=' post: 13074"']How do I get the console open? Its simple just go into admin mode and use the console button(button above tab and under escape) - BashVendetta - 11-03-2011 Here is the initial problem: I was testing skills and I came to elementalist, I summoned a Summon and got an error report. I then couldnt summon summons at all as it would error all the time so I got the old client I used transferred EVERY FILE to it from the client that now didnt work anymore loaded it up and it worked.... so its obviously a cache issue somewhere on my pc that the client saves, any ideas? - someone - 11-03-2011 The username is stored in Data\Etc\ps.dat If you want i can look tomorrow in it and get an decryption algorithm. - BashVendetta - 11-03-2011 Yeah I figured that out already I should have said, sorry. |
