Them machine specs are a rip off, you cant host a server on that. The core clock rate is way to low along with allocated memory, even with multiple cores your server will still lag like hell due to the files only utilize a single core. Your gonna need a bigger machine then that if you plan on running a successful server, with at least 4x the amount of ram to get off the ground.

Yep, they will load and idle on them specs. But I am guaranteeing at 1000mhz the server consumes more then 70% of the cpu load just to idle, and more then 350mb of ram without any prior connections. What it is, is the bare minimal to just load a server

We had about 30 people on a few nights ago.
Not much CPU usage.
I guess it helps when you know what you are doing then.

I beg to differ, youll understand the more you monitor. I suggest you learn how burst and swap works before saying 512mb of memory and 1ghz can handle a average player count of 150. Your right it really does help when you know exactly what your doing.
I have 30 VPSs ready to go, I will talk to my partner and see if we can sell a few of them off for cheap. We have a 1 year plan for them so.
