- Lastonix - 07-11-2014 Hello everyone, I would like to start up the launcher and configure apache on linux centos for my website ... how I do it? I put the folder of my website on the "var / www" but does not work ... can someone explain to me how to run my website? I did not find any guide that can help me .... can you help me? thank you - pwesty - 07-11-2014 /var/www/html/ to be exact and make sure you installed apache, if you have start it by using this command, service httpd start, if you need apache installed use this command, yum install httpd httpd-devel.. and to make apache run at boot do this cmd chkconfig httpd on - Lastonix - 07-11-2014 ok ... now when I write on my browser localhost / name-my-folder-site gives me this error: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /lastonixchaos on this server.
