Hello LCKB,

a friend on mine got some time left on a small CentOS x32 Server,

which is running without an gui, so my question is if there is a way (and if - how) i can setup the files without the Interface?

-

It'd be only for me and i friend to test some changes.

Regards,

to add to zicke, its not only possible, you should do this, at all times.

ditch all the graphical stuff, there is nothing graphical about a server

Thank you both for your replys, i'll try it this way. Smile

Using the terminal is the fastest way to get things done. I would suggest learning how to use it as the server OS platform isn't going to ever change (wasting resources on an xserver).

Is there a guide or something for a pure Terminal installation, or ist it more like learning by doing?
