Good day, I have a problem with the mysql service...

A temporary fix that I am aware of is this

Go to following location:Computer/Filesystem/var/lib/mysql  and delete mysql.sock after the file is deleted mysql service will work.

However you have to repeat that all the time you restart your virtual machine.

login as root and you will be able to delete it
