Error connecting to the Mysql server

Hello,

 

I get that Error when opening my homepage.

 

Error connecting to the Mysql server
If your the admin please check your config settings.
If your not then there is no connection to Mysql sorry, come back later.

My config.php file should be correct.

I tried both IP's 127.0.0.1 and my root ones(HP is on the same root as my lc server)

 

I also restarted the httpd

 

and the mysql username and password is also correct ( I use the same which I use with navicat )

already tried with creating new user,didn't work also

 

any tip?

I think you are using Max  outdated website... Use version 3.6.2.....

 

your config has to be something like this :

Make sure your mysql username and password is correct...

2 questions:

 

1. Is your mysql username root ?

2. Did u executed website sql file in navicat?

What you can try to do is look in /var/log/httpd/error.log

sometimes you might find some php errors there.

Yes, my sql username is root and the password i put in is correct.

I also created a  database named cms and cms_demo and executed the DB from the LC-CMS 3.6.2

(Why twice? To test if that was the error)
