run it off your linux ip configure your sl.data it should look like this
test (your linux ip) 4001 then save and enter .

All ips need to be 127.0.0.1 besides form the GameServer and LoginServer.

U dont want any of the other services exposed on the internet.

 

U can also use a mysql password if prefered, but then u need to enable old_passwords in /etc/my.cnf

and change the password in the mysql.user table to old_password.

 

If u really want to change ports, then the one most usefull would be changing the SSH port to something else.
