Hi,I'm looking for a server editing program on linux (GameServer code etc). I have server 2015 year , all normal work on linux but i don't know whhat program to edit server files (change NS lvl etc)

Uhm so you are running Linux on your computer too..?

 

If yes, visual studio code is your only option if you want to usw visual studio (to my knowledge)

 

If no, visual studio 2022.

 

Editing can be done with anything, you could even use a text editor, like notepad, but I would not recommend that.

my basic system is win 10. I have centos 6.10 on VMware and full serveris on virtual machine. I need program to editing yhis file : 2

I have vs 2022 and I can't edit this file on visual studio

this is the compiled gameserver, it's the same as a .exe from windows. you dont change that file at all.

Decompile it, modify it, and compile it... it's easy....

you gotta change .cpp files and .h files in the source code and not the GameServer file. You should probably look into coding tutorials for beginners to figure things out at first, starting from scratch will be to hard and will only result in you having to ask a question every few minutes.
