I typed this all up and i don't think it made the transition to the new website so here it is again:

 

I have a few questions:

 

1) I want to have all three right now, horse, drake and incubis and I looked at all the databases and can not see what tells the game to give, say, the horse. I know the item number is the reward for finishing the quest but when you open say item 871 Pet Horse the SMC for the horse is just: Data\Item\Common\ITEM_treasure02.smc. And the .tex file for them is Data\Item\Common\Texture\ITEM_treasure.tex (same exact SMC for the drake too)

 

2) So, I added the folder for the incubis, copied over all the files and folders into my original Pets folder, ket new ones overwrite old ones, made a new item, Pet Incubis and made the SMC the same for the horse and drake and attached it to the pink drake egg. Which by the way has the exact same SMC and .tex files as the pet horse and pet drake! And the options for both are all 0.

 

3) So, basically I am asking what the hell tells the game you are getting a horse, drake or an incubis???? How do I have all 3???

 

4) If anyone has successfully got all of them to work can you please, please, please tell me how??? I am going to be working on this all day because I am not feeling well and this will keep my mind on something other than being sick and if I successfully figure it out I will share it, but if you know how please save my sanity!!!

 

and last, if it can be figured out, might be a way to add all the P2 pets, not with the skilld like fighting and such, but to tag around behind you like the horse and drake. :-)

look in data/npc/pet and search for pet_dragon_pink01.smc or something like that

The Pet is setted in the itemall.lod as item . (needed for the quest etc.).

 

if u want replace the pink drake with incubus just copy incubus03.smc (e.g.)

 

insert it in the pet folder and rename it to pet_dragon_pink02.smc e.g.

 

then edit the animations of the incubus in the incubus folder using the animation editor by wizatek.

 

YOu need to rename the incubus animations to pet_dragon_pink02 or something like that (look in the pet_dragon_pink02.ba)

Damn, I did all that and I don't get the incubis I stll get a dragon for the pink dragon :-( Starting to get on my nerves because now I am obsessed with making this work right,

LOL well I am defeated. I tried everything suggested and I have to finally give up. :-) If anyone has a way to do this I am going to beg, and I don't beg, could you send me your pets folder if you can do this and tell me how to make it an item that will work. I don't like to be a quitter bt I am totally defeated.

For me Incubus working fine only not effect of movement not working

yeah it works fine on its own when you replace the drake with the incubis I was wanting to have all three I tried replacing the pink drake with the incubis.
