What does they mean with Your Salt here ...?
Passwords are hashed with a salt. It acts like a password on top of a password (if that makes sense). The only way to un-hash the passwords (aka crack) is with that salt. If you dont have it the passwords are pretty much rendered useless to the hacker. Unless he can figure out your salt*.
