Reworking my old projects.. Using a nice PSD release on this board I have put together what I feel is a nice start to my new cms. I have no idea when it will be finished as atm im working on it in free time. You can check it out here: 2 Its just the layout atm Feel free to post your thoughts or ideas

Ok I have some free time now an have started work on this cms again. I have now finished the edit profile page, an starting work on view profile (other members) and then the new news system which will support member comments etc etc.

TY. I have now finished the news system and added support for members to comment on news posts on the cms. Admins can post/edit and delete news posts. Also 90% finished the profile system which also lists latest comments posted by the viewed profile date of creation and last logged into the cms. Will also add listing of chars on account at a later date. If the viewed profile is your own it will allow you to edit your nickname,avatar,password and email but also show important info about the account. The nickname if set by the member will replace the username on the cms (it dont change the username) Its uses the nickname on view profiles and news comments to protect the member and not show everyone their username. I.E if username "test" sets their nickname to "fred" then anyone that views anything to do with account "test" will only see "fred" not "test" Forgotten password added, you submit your username email an secret code to reset a password. Admin Control support added, the basics work. I can add to this as I finish other systems. Register script has been updated to only allow 5 accounts per IP and 1 account to each email address. I may add admin options to change this settings so you can set your own register limit per ip The restester script will add an account log to the db an insert the members IP into a log, login script will update this log if IP has changed. I will be adding IP search & IP ban to admin CP at a later date. The cms has been built to support theme switching so new themes maybe added at a later date. The site will only run on domains I allow I.E a licence system. All php scripts will be encrypted using my own custom encryption to protect my work from leachers, I have noticed parts of my code ripped out an used in other peoples sites an claimed to be their own work :kez_12: but is also in place to protect other stuff like the licence system. |
