Problem with adding a item ingame

Hey LCKB members,

 

I have a small problem with adding items to the game.

 

This is what i did:

 

I just copyed a item in the itemall editor and changed just the name of the item and the icon.

So i save the itemall.lod file and i save the itemname.lod file.

 

Ofcourse i also updated it with the DB.

I even added the item in the smc.lod file.

 

I rebooted all.

 

So i went ingame and i dropped the item.

The item got dropped but it is a cube and it has no name.

And yeah it doesnt work somebody a item what i missed?

Also is there maby a limit of the max amount of items you can have?

If you didnt reboot your client thatll happen.

Else, basic querstions... are you sure you saved the correct item name? Are you sure the smc you put in both itemall/smc lod files is in your client?

 

Also, not sure theres an item amount limit like there was with the 2005 files, but maybe an ID limit... what was the one u used?

I rebooted all. Since i turned off everything and i did it more then 2 times.

Yeah i added smc and the itemmall.lod in the right client.

 

And yeah i saved the correct item name saved it 10+ times also i delete just the itemname.lod to be sure its saving.

 

And ID was 7798 and 7799 didnt go higher since those 2 just didnt work.

Definitely weird the files i saved were in the right client.

 

But i just deleted it and re installed the whole client did same things and worked.

No idea why but now it works Maby something gived a conflict no idea what but its solved..

 

So topic can be closed.
