I been having an issue when trying to connect to a server. Im the only one that cant connect to a friends server.
Every time i try to log in it keeps telling me "Failed to connect to loginserver". But 2 Other friends can connect easily with no problem!
We have tried all of the following:
-Change ports
-Try other accounts
-Turned off my firewall
-Turned off antivirus(Currently using Avast)
Pretty much tried everything so idk whats wrong.
P.S i tried to log in to other servers like lcgn02, universelc2 and i can log in with no problem

Check if the client is the correct one, if the sl.dta is correctly configured and if your ip is allowed in ip tables.

done it all, Cant seem to understand why he is the only one who cannot connect to server, he can connect to hosted server ( ssh ) (putty) can view web/forums.
This happened to me on my vmware, i resetd vmwares network adapters but in this case, 3 of us can connect with our clients and he uses the same client, we gave him sl.dta multiple times but still no go.
We even tried to log-in with different accounts, I can log-in with his on my PC but he cannot log in with any on his PC.

hmmm thats odd... it has to be something on his end. You need to try everything, if nothing works... c:\> format c:

Yeah, he can connect to other servers though, just not ours.

does he have hamachi installed this was the reason i couldnt join my friends server?

Hey CyberClaus, i changed my ip and i could connect to server normally. But when i try to connect with my normal ip adress i keep getting the error " Failed to connect to login server" any idea what is blocking my ip ??? since i can login with another ip but not with mine :/

What program do you use to edit sl.dta? Use the barunson official tool [iPEditor], cause anyothers can just break your sl.dta.
And make sure you used service iptables stop.

sl.dta is working fine cuze i can log in with a different ip but not with mine.
what i dont understand is why do i get this error "Failed to connect to loginserver" loginserver is running lol cuze other friends can connect except me
