engine.dll v1280 updated
#11
i use one patched by myself

im not sure, never checked it. its something that was already patched in the engine.dll that came with the 2005 files. without it, you will get time out when connecting to the server

#13

It was introduced for Eternias client because the IP was hard coded into the engine or something. If I remember correctly (correct me if im wrong). I dont think we need it for these files tho. Unless it plays some other role.

The EG IP lock is right here:

Plus for those who dont want other to use their clients, they can change the IP there.

@Warmonger try to not flame.

it has nothing to do with the eternia ip thing

Talking about the post that I deleted, it was totally off topic with vulgar words.

look into t_option, a_prob is the chance to get a seal, 112 Melee Hitrate has a 0,1% chance

i still think the better solution to fix the 73+ seals bug is to remove the 0x8000 flag, these ep1 files will never support this type of seals, there are no functions for it in gameserver.exe, so why not just remove it ?

i been working in a server/client patch and since the client has almost nothing to be patched, im releasing it

engine.dll (v1280)

- IP fixed

- nation id changed

- encryption key changed

- optional password encryption

- rareoption seals disabled

2

or with encryption disabled (not tested):

2

REQUIRES USA CLIENT VERSION 1279 OR 1280

no need to remove the rareoption flag from all lvl 73+ items anymore. now you can use normal seals on rareoption items and the client inventory will not get bugged

The download link does not work
