[How to] Create Icon like a korean (itembtn)

Hi all ^^ For my new tutorial I deal with noobs in graphic and devs too busy to search.

 

Who has never had a problem finding THE icon in itembtn to its new stuff, weapon or item ?

 

Who has never want create easy icon like a korean B)

 

So I have find easy solution and make small pack with base colors for all classes and clean icons. (One icon for one part of stuff and all weapons, icon too for shield and wings)

Tutorial for Stuff/Weapons/Pets/Npc from your client

 

Requied Last Chaos Model Viewer for follow tutorial [2 - 2] (credits tinyguy chaosprojekt.com, good site but down today)

 

1) Config and lunch model viewer, put your stuff/weapon in left to be set in icon and screenshoot. (Tips : For head the best is to have neck leave other cross, for other part uncross other cross for have only your part and have better screenshoot)

 

 

2) Paste in photo editor supporting transparency (gimp is free and perfect for this), past your screenshoot and cut only your part, after it's done remove the white of part.

 

 

3) Reduct your part and when it's done put in the clean icon

 

 

Done ! :o  And you have icon like a boss, a korean, a dev, a graphic B)  -_-  :ph34r:

I have start this night after tutorial for my new stuff. After 2/3 hours it's nice ^^ (Sry for lines, stuff is not release I cannot leave icons full for no spoil xd)

Being honest you can take a finished itembtn, i had this before but didnt thought its useful in any way because it would make plenty of itembtm's in folder also my idea was to make it like that but got back to the default ones straight as those arent useful in my opinion

it does try the older item viewer or the client that you use is not compatible with the viewer

You can do it with C4D too, but it's longer.

Hesited to do this tut but now it's done then, lol

 

But u made ur stuffs in 2-3hours or only the icons ?

cuz icons don't take much time lol

 

i'll maybe release a graph pack with a lot of lc backgrounds

 

ps : be care, the lines that u putted are easily removeable.

Can't you make the level of it 1 then?
