Error not connect to DB

Thats where im stuck too, i can't get the files to connect to the db. Maybe is my phpadmin,mysql, my db name is too long, idk. I need some advice on this part as well.

Don't use any password for mysql, from what i've heard that might cause this.

Set your Mysql empty. If you need to know how , search abit, someone posted about it yesterday. Or just google it.

im having the same issues ive tried and tried and tried changed user name created users with all the available ips to connect but still says cannot connect to DB!! all my mysql users even root have no password set as i did when doing the mysql install any idea why it wont connect even though no password is set?

guess there is not edit option for my last post but more information maybe could guide you into helping me

Resetting MySQL Root Password: Red Hat and CentOS

 

 

If you've forgotten your MySQL root password (or are involved with some nefarious activity), here is how you can reset that password on a Red Hat (RHEL) system or a CentOS system:

 

Stop MySQL:

root# service mysqld stop

 

Start MySQL in safe mode:

root# mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables &

 

Log into MySQL as root:

root# mysql -u root

 

Reset the password:

mysql> update mysql.user set password=PASSWORD("YourNewPassW0RD") where User='root';

mysql> flush privileges; exit;

 

Log out of MySQL and stop the Safe Mode:

root# service mysqld stop

 

Start MySQL in the normal mode:

root# service mysqld start

 

Log into MySQL with your new password:

root# mysql -u root -p

Enter password:

mysql>
