umlauts Client

Hello, can anyone tell me how I can make an umlaut in the client Ä, Ü, Ö 

I have seen many use umlauts, have a client here that has something built in. Can I take them from there, if so how do I do it?

hello,

It's quite easy to add Ä,Ö,Ü to you client. Simply Change Nation in Client (ps.dat) and change or remove nation check in GameServer (musst have a german LS and GS with Nation Check enabled or modified to work with client) I personaly use LS and GS Nation 9 (USA) and adapted it with the Clients Nation to make them to work but it's easier if you use Nation 13 (ger) in order to make it work.

Keep in mind you need to have a German GS or a Modified US GameServer in order to do it either bei Hardcoding the Nation (which makes the config files obsolete or changing the Config to work with your prefered files or you will get Errors at Compiling)

 

Best Chances are to have a dev on your site to make it Work he will know what to do.

Es gibt dafür ein Tool (Namen kann ich dir grad nicht sagen) mit dem du es decodieren und bearbeiten kannst. Im Anschluss musst es dann natürlich wieder codieren.

 

Du kannst aber auch mit viel umschreiberei den Client und Server sagen sie sollen das auch so machen dann entfällt das natürlich. Wichtig ist das dann Server auch geändert wird, nur Client reicht hierfür nicht. 

Am Server musst du dies selbst anpassen einfach auf Ger compilieren ohne Anpassungen vorzunehmen würde ich nicht empfehlen. (Falls er überhaupt läuft mit allen Phone home etc)
