a guide ? for what for Linux??? Just install Debian or Centos or Suse as Server.

you must have install libssl and mysql icl the Development Packages .in a Terminal as the superroot User

 

Example on Centos.

yum install mysql-server mysql-client mysql-devel openssl openssl-devel

Example on Debian

apt-get install openssl libssl-dev mysql-server mysql-client libmysqlclient15-dev

yum have to install it per Package Manager in yum (Centos) by the way if you install centos as server then ssh is installed automatic.

hello guys can anyone help me?

i have now the virtual box with linux version openSUSE 64 bit.

and in the linux in virtualbox i installed MySQL 4.0 but i dont know how to start.

also the servers. i dont know how to start them. it tells me saerching for starting software. but dont find anything

 

and the data.sql is all time freezing at 2%
