äähm.. i think the website is a external webserver?

 

create mysql-user

mysql -u root -p

 

GRANT ALL ON *.* TO [email protected] IDENTIFIED BY password;

exit;

 

open mysql-port for website

iptables -I INPUT -p tcp -m tcp -s 123.45.6.78 --dport 3306 -j ACCEPT

 

 

123.45.6.78 = IP of your webserver
