Poorly managed - Sure ok I will go with that  but isn't everyone here for self gain? To learn / download / get help / or help etc etc an LCKB is here for them weather or not its poorly managed their still gaining from this board, why can't it asked a little back for support?

Errors in every corner - Show me an I will fix please, no1 reports errors would be a lot easier if they did

Someone more professional - I do my best (at times) an i'm still here after many years an many people quitting. No1 is perfect Of cause I have bad times where I just cba with this place but I still pay an work in the background to keep it up for everyone.

Million ripped forum extensions - Isn't the main topic of this place files ripped (server files)? It may cause problems within the board but again if people reported problems they were having I could fix them.

 

But here you are using the board still..Thats just my opinion Warmonger 

Poorly managed - Absolutely just look at how improper the board has become with the amount of brokenness that it has. You've tried to draw people in with stupid functionality like an arcade and dozens of "added features" that come from poorly written forum extensions which really only make for longer page times and extra database query's. It was a strategy that ultimately backfired. LCKB is not a place worth recognition or reputation but that of a noobs playground (as stated before all of us "skilled" people have already left nor contribute here anymore).

 

Errors in every corner - I'm not going to sit around and show people how to fix their problems, you should know spoon feeding is one thing that I don't do. A good place to start is to download more browsers than just one and observe the problems across them. Also ensure you check up on your HTML and CSS validations as them are broken as well. I would read every line of each extension to ensure it's not leaving backdoors on the board as well (extremely common for holes to appear with several extensions).

 

Someone more professional - That was one of the biggest problems was the community being handed down to people less knowledgeable. EPvP at this point seems to see far more private server acknowledgement than LCKB. That boils down to how the site is ran as LCKB has resulted into nothing more than a database of collected posts. Which is not very beneficial to anyone as development has hit a brick wall.

 

Million ripped forum extensions - It's really not, adding a dozen forum extensions especially without looking/testing them over to ensure they won't break the forum in any way is a critical task. As stated above using lots of these extensions open up holes in the site for it to be easily compromised. Stacking them in for what little bit of entertainment they might bring is not worth the cost of having them. People don't come to LCKB to play around in the arcade or to set their mood. The community has become some child's project of building the "coolest place to be" meanwhile loosing its focus on the subject at hand.

 

I don't use the board at all and my post count reflects that. I push commits to my emulator project when I do work on it and that's all I do LC related anymore.
