it's because this read the output of the server & luoos game lib work directly with the server
Parsing the log output is a very poor and unstable way of handling things. If his system doesn't detour the GameServer's internal functions directly then it's not even worth buying. He might as well release the source code for that matter as I could write the same system in about 5 minutes. Especially if all he's doing is parsing output logs and injecting the items into the players inventory through the database.
