Whazzert is writing a guide. If somebody tells you step by step what to do, you don't have to learn basic knowledge because the sense of a guide is to make use of somebody else's knowledge.

problem with that is, if you just follow the guide JUST so u can setup a test server and mess around on it, you won't learn anything. The best way to learn is to figure things out by yourself.
