server files on Winscp

I'm having a problem running the server files on winscp/putty.

I'm trying to run .exe files of the server files on putty but I get "cannot execute binary files" when I do that, if anyone has any idea why I'd appreciate the help.

and is it possible for me to take these files and run them directly on CentOS terminal instead of using putty?

.exe files are windows files, not linux/centos^^ compile the source on linux and you will get linux executables

like Desarija say, or you just can make the correct config and then compile linux executables in windows and also compile for windows.
