Well, dear Com,
Much of u just posted and posted their things but no1 really cares about.
Sofar here are little fixxes that will make ure launcher probably went working!
The most Type of Errors are:
1.)Launcher Crashes
2.) Corrupt Patch File
For 1.)
1. Do exactly the same as in guide then -> Go to ure folder where u put the notice.htm and the update.htm
2. open them
3. write something in them for example "hello"
4. save them
5. solved
For 2.)
1. Do Exactly what the guide says -> but if u got a low value of the Version like 39 or somthing like that change it to something higher like 401 -> change the Version in Version.txt to 401 and rename the .zip to 401.zip
2. go to ure client and open the vtm.brn
3. change the Version to 400
4. save it
5. solved

lol launscher is a very easy to create adde me once in skype please chaoshexer1985
the launcher is one of the easiest thing on the whole game, i think erverone can handle it to get it to work

ok i refuse my opinion, you're right
but i would attach the Programs which helps them solving their problems, (vtm editor etc)
and many ppl don´t know how to set them up right (like what to write in lccnct.dta and IP.txt)
and this thread i don´t think that ppl will learn it write when they don´t read right and they don´t try to fix it on their one...
I mean with the first guide how to set it up is everthing in detail, they just have to fallow the steps the right order and everthing should work out fine.
I´m not an expert with the Last Chaos files but i´m willing to learn how the stuff works and try it on my one to make things work.
And this i think is a thing who everyone needs to have to run a successfull EP1 server ain´t it?

Yea hateme your right you can understand it if ppl would read it right, but i think u know the response on this thread, there you see nobody will read it right so there must be someone who makes all the crap (which is definitly very easy) in detail that everyone can understand it.
I know that many ppl here who wants to set up a private server can´t insert even an easy query for the database or create
.bat/.htm/ etc files and use them for the servers.
They wan´t to have finished servers where erverything is working and so on...
They don´t want to do anything but want´s to earn out of others work... and don´t give them the credits they supposed to.
I have an privat server to since a few weeks, i don´t know about programming in the servers either (i use them which i found on the forum) but i can handle the database and make the launcher to work...
I´m still learning to code but well it all need it´s time, but what i wanted to get to work, works out right and thats all what counts...
(u won´t see in this forum any complaining thread (i take this one out ) because i tried it all by my self and learnd how i have to make it )
(to use sometimes google or search in this threads (in the guide section) helps )
