mono error

i buy vps server i call thes man from vps he say me that centos 6.0 is better from centos 6.3

in centos 6.3 is not all bug fexed

The error is caused by a broken Mono install, where your "mono" commandis from one version of Mono (judging by the corlib it wants, something

around 2.4ish), and your Mono libraries (usually from

/usr/lib/mono/2.0/*.dll) are a much newer version (something 2.6ish).

 

do you have before installed with yum a rpm of mono?

so that now are 2 versions of mono installed?

 

if yes make the following

yum remove mono-*

after that reinstall the mono-3.0.1.tar.bz2

yes thes probleme i have i install old version and i instal new version

that i get evry time thes error i remove old version and i instal new version and orw fine

only now i have other probleme

Yep, that's probably it. I've already tried to install a few monos before that one and each time the install +/- failed but i guess it was installed anyway.

Okay ...for what is Mono?

Mono is a runtime....(aka the same as you must install on Windows the NetRuntime without that no with Net Develop Prog will run!

by the way what is net? Net is a multiplattform Dev Language. (aka as java) if the user have install the runtime you can run the same prog on every Plattform)

So Wizas CashServer is developed in Net 4! So will need a runtime that it can work on Linux!And that is on Linux Mono!

About the installing Stuff on Linux On Linux it is often that you must compile a Prog self.

By the way before you can administrate a Linux Server you have to learn the Ground Linux Stuff.
