[Guide] Setup an new User on Navicat

Hellos guys there an new tutorial to setup an new mysql user from navicat i will do it from an simple and easy way using navicat, u can use the new user u make to connect to your vps/dedicate server database or just to connect your tools.

 

Lets start!!

 

 

Click on User Click on New User

 

Click ON General Fill these box with ur information. Save it  Click ON Server Privileges Click on Privileges

 

There we will give the privileges we want that this user have make.

Server Privileges Select the privileges

 

There u will be able to give privileges to the databases u want.

example, if you want that user only can access to an specific database there u will be able to do this.

 

Privileges Add Privileges

 

Select the databases u want that the user have access Select the privileges u want that this user have on the selected databases Click Ok Click Save
Thats all, really easy i just make it cuz maybe some peoples dont know.

the only mistake you can make is put in host your ip and not %

 

but you need put %

 the ip is already setting

 

after to connect ur database or tools u need just ur ip not % and user and password that all

why need video, just install mysql and other addons for server, open navicat create connection with SSH and thats all, why need 4min
