When two characters are side by side, the game crashes

You can fix it by getting the right client

From what I have read the client doesn't match the server version which is giving all these problems.

We had the same problems with Ep1 many years ago, it will get sorted in time

Already ask on  the board well you need  19/12 client or fix that issue with client source

It would have been released also.

The client isn't the only problem tho.
