Deleting and old lancher

Ok i have seen other server do a update where they add in a new launcher.exe and then DELETES the old one ...how is this done anyone ???

They probably upload a .bat file which removes the old launcher.

and how is this bat file executed?

you can replace the launcher with the normal launcher.

you need to name the new one LCNew.exe

When you start the client, it will look for LCNew.exe every time and replace it with LC.exe
