Looks pretty cool! Only problem i noticed so far was that it sometimes crashes on bigger patches, but that might be a problem on my end? I'm not sure



 

happened a few times with different patches of 50+MB, after a few tries it works ?

I do not know if this is your case in particular, i noticed that on some occasions the antivirus(Windows Defender) blocks some files and the launcher cannot rewrite them or continue writing them. I am going to do tests about it...

 

EDIT: I can almost assure you that, if you run the launcher as administrator, this type of problems disappears, in the next release the launcher ask for admin permissions.

Nope, I had already tried to run it as admin and it still crashed after a few patches ? it downloads the patch, but gets stuck at around 50mb, crashes, closes and the zip file stays inside the client folder.

and I dont use the windows defender, Kaspersky >>>

however it could still be a problem on my end, I‘ll test it again as soon as I have more stable internet xd

admin permissions are a good idea anyway

It looks like a Launcher problem. I tried it with 3 patchfiles (81mb) and it already crashed with the first patch. but not while downloading, the crash come with extraction process (I turned my antivirus off for the tests)

 

Edit: the file is getting downloaded correctly, same size and all. It seems like the launcher have some problems with the extraction process.

I apologize for the inconvenience, it seems to be a problem related to the IDE with which the launcher is created, I think I have solved it in the version 'Release 3 (Hotfix)', I ask you to keep me updated.

i got this after loading around 20 patches now, happened only once so far tho

It may be an exception, if it continue happening, let me know and we continue refining the code...
