i've been trying to figure out why this script wouldnt work, well the php.ini needs to be setup correctly, since the person that wrote this script it doesnt echo errors so you must get the errors using this tail /var/log/httpd/access_log /var/log/httpd/error_log that will tell you what errors are happening, most errors end up being mysqli user errors and mysql_connect errors....now that is settled for users having issues maybe i can get help on this error

 

$conn = new mysqli($ip,$sqluser,$sqlpw,$userdb); this is on line 47 of script....

 

client 24.151.255.159] PHP Warning: mysqli::mysqli(): (HY000/2003): Can't connect to MySQL server on '24.151.255.159' (13) in /var/www/html/register.php on line 47, referer: 2 my mysqli user is the same user im using to connect to mysql what might be causing this error?

this script dosent convert CAPS usernames to lowercase also..... $str = strtolower($str);
