I have a second question, how can I change the link, that is forced when I click on the Homepage-Button?
Here it is:

1)Download 2.

2)Open LC.exe with the hex editor.

3)Press CTRL+F and search for "www.lastchaos-usa.com" (with out quotes, or watever site it brings you)

4)it will bring you to http://www.lastchaos-usa.com, change(do not press delete just overwrite) it from 2 to 2

5)add 00 00 at the end of the string and save

6)Done

the lc.exe from the usa client is old. the one from the german client would be a better match since it doesnt require administrative privileges and has the updated background with the nightshadow

 

here is my lc.exe from the german client with:

- xtrap removed

- Homepage button link changed to chaos.wizatek.be

- language id changed to usa (pretty useless)

This doesnt work for me someone help pls.

 

I uploaded the ip.txt to patch.xxxx.com

and the version is 10408

then i made a txt and wrote 10408 and uploaded it where the ip.txt is

 

now I uploaded a zip file called 10409 where the ip and version files are but the launcher doesnt update

 

i also tried changing the version file i uploaded renaming it to 10409 but nothing... it fdoesnt update

The contents of ip.txt is(lccnct.dta must point to the folder were ip.txt is):

In folder 2 add a file called version.txt and write the version in that file 10005(say your client version is 10000)

 

In the same folder add files 10001.zip, 10002.zip, 10003.zip, 10004.zip, 10005.zip. If the client does not find these files it will crash.

dam now i cant visualiza htm files, i upload the notice.htm to patch.xxxxx.com the i write patch.xxxx.com/notice.htm and it says nothing was found but the file is there -.- whats the problem? thx

When I use a custom page the icon in the taskbar doesn´t work (is not shown).

How can I fix that ?
