Centos, -permissions denied
#1

Hello dear community,

I got stuck today at centos with a new issue, i tried to look for a solution and couldnt find any, could you help me out here  Sad

Basically I am able to start the cash server, but when i try to run the connector helper subhelper etc, it gives me permissions denied.

I can run the cash server without any problems but not the others :/

Thanks in advance

Best Regards!

chmod -R 777 Connector

for example

#3

chmod -R 777 Connector

for example

It havent helped :/ having same permissions denied

#4
command chmod -R 777 is setting permissions recursively for all files in the folder.
"Connector" here - not a file, its a folder.

#5
chmod -R 777 /opt
"opt" is folder where you have server files, mine is here, but change it to your folder

#6

chmod -R 777 /opt

"opt" is folder where you have server files, mine is here, but change it to your folder

Its same,  Sad Permissions denied

#7
then set em via winscp..

#8

Tried to put in other folders as well, can run CashServer fine, the error comes out as -bash: connector permission denied...

Tried everything, with all chmods possible and winscp @ all permissions but nothing....

EDIT: something was missing in the OS, i reinstalled the OS and everything works great now...
