If this is on vmware, try to reset defaults in Virtual Network Editor under VM tab....
Iv had this issue couple of times

are you using a password for MySQL at first?
and then please post here your newStobm.bin from GS\LS\Connector etc etc

make new mysql user without password and add it on all newstobm.bin, last chaos server cant start with mysql password.
