i cant start Connector in my root

hello i have this problem when try run Connector

Get this for your OS and copy it to /usr/lib/ with superuser.

[email protected]> yum install wget

[email protected]> wget <URL>

[email protected]> cp <Download-Dir>/libmysqlclient.so.12 /usr/lib/

Why just not to use yum install libmysqlclient.so.12?

Or rename libmysqlclient.so.10 to libmysqlclient.so.12, which should be already exists.

Why not apt-get install libmysqlclient.so.12?

Because, you dont know, which OS hes running.. no Information. And thats the point, no one knows it is in the repo.
