And yes, replacing the entire engine folder is just not smart. That's not fixing that is just smashing things together until you have something that works. If there would be anything in there that could fix it, you should post that fix alone and not the entirety of the project folder + all of the junk inside of it.
This can potentially just cause him more and more problems along the way.
